Sector 04 · In planning
Energy — independence is built upstream.
Capacity numbers don't tell you whether a country is energy-independent. The cell chemistry, the wafer line, the rare-earth feedstock, and the grid-scale balancing software do. The Energy programme works on those.
Programme scope
What we plan to work on.
India's renewable build-out is the most-publicised story in the sector. The under-publicised one is the upstream — module manufacturing, battery cells, balancing markets, distribution-utility solvency. That is where the Energy programme will live.
Lines of effort under consideration
- Distribution-utility operations tooling (open-source where viable).
- Cell-chemistry & battery-supply-chain capability mapping.
- Demand-flex programmes co-designed with state DISCOMs.
- Public benchmarking of grid-resilience metrics.
This sector is being shaped this year.
If you run a DISCOM, a state load-despatch centre, or a battery-supply-chain team, your input shapes what we ship.
